Today our bouncing baby boy turned 3 years old!  I think every parent says this at least once a year, but... it really does feel just like yesterday that we arrived home from the hospital without any clue on Earth what to do with him.   We managed to make it 3 years and he's quickly turning into quite the little man.... We had a small gathering with friends and relatives at our local park and we thought it'd be fun to set up a little photo booth for... the kids, ha!   Happy Birthday Little Man!

Most people who know me, know that I love golf.  I haven't been playing much recently, but now I have a great reason to hit the links... My new TaylorMade RocketBallz Driver and 3 wood.  I know... Awesome name.  I plan on yelling "RocketBallz!" every time I hit one well, ha!  Rumor has it that it was a nickname during testing and ultimately, it just stuck.   Like any golfer, I'm always looking for ways to improve my game.  I normally focus on my technique and just remaining in the moment... easier said than done.  As a photographer, I always say, "It's the photographer, not the camera."...

Some of the coolest gigs I get to work on are as the Director of Photography at Verdict Photography.  Verdict is carving out its own little niche in the commercial video and photography world and I'm stoked to be a part of it.  A couple weeks ago we were asked to do some photography for a San Francisco based clothing company, American Giant.   They started their company based on the thought that American manufacturing isn't dead and products made in America can be exceptional quality and not break the bank.   We were asked to get some photographs of the garment manufacturing...

I was hired by EYE Corp by their Mall Media group, to photograph their EYE light media boards.  "EYE provides advertisers with maximum engagement opportunities when Shoppers are most receptive to brand messages."   My assignment was to capture photos of their media boards with well dressed shoppers with shopping bags in hand, while highlighting the high end shops where the ads are placed.... not a difficult thing to do in Corte Madera.  You can tell in the photos we shot at a slower shutter speed to capture the motion of shoppers, as well as keep them anonymous.  We didn't have...

I had an opportunity to photograph the management team from Bay Area Legal Aid in Oakland, CA.  Bay Legal's mission is to "provide meaningful access to the civil justice system through quality legal assistance regardless of a client's location, language or disability."   They are doing some incredible work that benefits Bay Area residents in every community.
